Former WWE Women’s Champion Michelle McCool Diagnosed With COVID-19

Former WWE Diva’s and Women’s Champion Michelle McCool announced on her official Instagram account that she had tested positive for COVID-19.

According to McCool, she had initially mistaken her symptoms for allergies, but a test taken earlier this week revealed that she has COVID-19.

McCool stated that she is “blessed” to have mild symptoms. She added that she is “super blessed” because she is the only one in their house who has caught COVID-19.

McCool is married to The Undertaker with whom she has an eight-year-old daughter.

In her Instagram post, McCool also shared a picture of her daughter “creatively” finding a way to communicate with her mother while maintaining proper social distancing.

They’ve constructed an eight-foot long tube that they call the “COVID Communication telephone”.

McCool retired from active wrestling in 2011, though she has made special appearances in WWE throughout the years.

Notably, McCool has participated in battle royales, including an appearance during the 2018 Royal Rumble and the first all-women WWE pay-per-view, Evolution. She has the most number of eliminations at the 2018 Royal Rumble event, at five.
