John Cena is one of the best-known wrestlers in the world at present and has been able to make the transition from ring to screen quite seamlessly throughout his career.
There are many wrestlers in the locker room who have worked with the former 16-time Champion and have stated that they are jealous of the star, but Goldberg is an unexpected addition to the list.
The former Universal Champion has been one of the biggest legends in the business for many years and is now a WWE Hall of Famer. In a recent appearance on WWE’s The Bump, Goldberg revealed that he was jealous of Cena and his community work outside of the ring.
“Each and every kid that I was able to reach out to and touch during that time holds a special place in my heart. I see (John) Cena doing all these make-a-wishes and that’s the only time I’ve been jealous of anybody in the business. Because I think he’s done more than myself. And, I’m jealous in that I’ve never got the opportunity to do it more.”
If Goldberg is able to return to WWE in the coming months and the COVID-19 restrictions are eased then he could be allowed to help more Make-A-Wish children.
