Dustin Rhodes, better known by his ring name Goldust, underwent surgery on both knees on Tuesday. Post-surgery Goldust took to Twitter to announce that the operation was successful.
Dr. Jeffrey Dugas performed the surgery in Birmingham, Alabama. Dugas has a history of performing surgeries on WWE Superstars and athletes from all major sports.
WWE has announced that Goldust is expected to make full recovery. As of this writing, there’s no word on how long Goldust will be sitting on the sidelines.

Goldust broke the news about his surgery a day before he went under the knife. He took to Twitter and wrote:
“I regret not a thing as I have done it all. My family on the road at work has been incredible and are exceeding their talents daily. They all are true superstars and family with a bright future. Remember, be patient and humble. Your time will come! #OutlastThemAll #Keepsreppin”

Goldust also mentioned that he has been working while hurt but he needed to get this surgery because his “knees needed it.”
Although he is not featured regularly on TV, Goldust usually works on the live events. He last wrestled in mid-June and had been teaming with Chad Gable and Zack Ryder in matches against Curt Hawkins, Mike Kanellis, and Mojo Rawley.
