Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, The Good Brothers, are the new Impact World Tag Team Champions.
The duo challenged for the titles during this Saturday’s Turning Point event. The Good Brothers were able to deliver their finisher the Magic Killer to successfully defeat two-time champions The North (Ethan Page and Josh Alexander).
This is the first time that the Good Brothers have won since they signed with Impact after getting released by WWE back in April. The duo signed with Impact shortly after and debuted during Slammiversary.
This is Gallows and Anderson’s first time with the Impact World Tag Team Championships, but they have had considerable success as a tag team, being multiple-time champions in NJPW and WWE.
The North is a Canadian tag team that had been on their second title reign. They had won the Impact World Tag Team Championships from the Motor City Machine Guns during last month’s Bound for Glory event. While they only held the titles for 21 days this time, they are the longest tag team champions in the company’s history.
Their first title reign began in July of last year at the Bash at the Brewery and held the titles for 380 days before losing them to the Motor City Machine Guns in July of this year.
