WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler on the recent episode of his podcast announced that he and Jim Ross would reunite as the announcing team for the Greatest Royal Rumble in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on April 27, 2018.

This first-of-its-kind event featuring 50 Superstars is part of a 10-year strategic multiplatform partnership in support of Vision 2030, Saudi Arabia’s social and economic reform program.

There have been 30 and 40-Man Royal Rumble matches ever since the debut of the first Royal Rumble match in 1988, but this will be the first time 50 WWE Superstars compete in the legendary event. WWE has begun advertising for the show featuring high-profile superstars like John Cena, Roman Reigns, AJ Styles, Triple H, Randy Orton, Braun Strowman, Shinsuke Nakamura, Bray Wyatt and The New Day and now PWInsider reports that the company is already in works for creative plans which include seven championship matches on the event apart from the RAW and Smackdown Live Women’s Championship.
