Monday Night Raw this week took fans on an emotional journey from start to finish, after fans in Rhode Island were given the news that Roman Reigns would be sidelined as he battled Leukemia, many fought back tears as Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins joined their fallen brother on the stage.

Ambrose and Rollins were the dedicated professionals as they promised to win the Raw Tag Team Championships in honor of Reigns that night, who had been forced to relinquish his own Universal Championship.

The two Shield members battled Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre in last night’s main event and after Braun Strowman set his sights on McIntyre, Ziggler was left on his own to fight off the two men but fell victim to a Curb Stomp.

The crowd thought that this was the perfect end for The Shield who deserved something to celebrate after the harsh reality of Reigns’ condition, but sadly the action on Raw didn’t end there as Ambrose thought that this was the perfect opportunity to hit Seth Rollins with a Dirty Deeds and begin a heel turn that has been coming for the better part of a year.

Ambrose was ruthless in his assault of his former brother as he threw him outside of the ring and ended the attack with a Dirty Deeds onto the concrete floor before walking away visibly upset that this is the way that their alliance had been dissolved.

It is worth noting that Ambrose and Rollins are the Raw Tag Team Champions, despite the fact that The Lunatic Fringe turned on his brother last night, they are still considered a unit and will be expected to defend their titles in the coming weeks together.
