According to PWInsider, WWE Hall Of Famer, Hulk Hogan could be finally returning to WWE soon.
Hogan, who last appeared on WWE in July, 2015 is rumoured to be handed an authority role for SmackDown Live. The rumours could be true given that the Commissioner of SmackDown Live, Shane McMahon has announced his “indefinite leave of absence” along with the current General Manager of the blue brand, Daniel Bryan set to return to the ring as a pro-wrestler. The possibility of The Hulkster coming back to resume his role as WWE Ambassador remains, claimed the source.
In response to PWInsider’s request for comment, WWE issued the following statement:
“We have had discussions with Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan) about how he can help others learn from his mistakes, however, he is not under any contract with WWE.”
With WrestleMania 34 around the corner, the speculation of The Real American returning to WWE as the mystery partner of Braun Strowman for tag team action at ‘Mania runs strong. Furthermore, Hogan also possesses the star power that WWE needs to work on future DVD and WWE Network Projects.
Noteworthy mention: WWE, which collaborated with HBO Sports to produce a documentary on Andre the Giant titled “Andre the Giant”, is scheduled to hold a premiere for the film next Thursday in Los Angeles, California where The Hulkster is slated to be present.
