Braun Strowman Jumps Into Frozen Lake
Braun Strowman recently participated in a fundraising charity campaign by taking a polar plunge at Pike Lake just outside of Hartford, Wisconsin. The Monster pulled off a spectacular cannonball in the frozen lake to raise money for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Washington County. The fundraiser is currently at $3,148, way past its goal of $2,000.
Post-plunge Strowman said:
“I was going to do it, one, because I’ve never done it. And two, I legit take ice baths all the time and I thought, ‘Oh, that would be kind of fun!’ But then I thought, ‘Wait a second, I bet I could raise some money to see me jump into a lake.’ WWE and I worked together, literally 24 hours we put this thing together.”
“We might have to turn this into a big event and get like, I don’t know, 10,000 people out here,” Strowman said. “We have about 1,000 people out here on 30 hours of notice, so I’m not too mad about that. We’ll somehow figure out, we’ll get WWE involved, the local charities, and next year we’ll have a really big event.”
Brew It Up!
WWE Grand Slam Champion Seth Rollins is now looking to “brew it up” outside WWE as he partners with 392 Caffé in Davenport to open his new coffee shop. The Kingslayer took to Instagram to announce that 392Dport is set to launch early this year.
All Elite Wrestling Contracts
Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reports that upcoming hot major promotion All Elite Wrestling is able to offer cash-rich contracts that are very similar to WWE deals. This shouldn’t come off as a surprise for the promotion is backed by Tony Khan, son of Jacksonville Jaguars and Fulham F.C. owner Shahid Khan.
