On the lead up to WWE Survivor Series, current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns and WWE Champion Drew McIntyre have been feuding over who is the top champion.
Reigns has been claiming McIntyre is only the “secondary” champion as he and the Universal Championship are at the top of WWE.
According to WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Sasha Banks, however, neither of the two male “top champions” is the face of the company.
“I’m not afraid to let people know that I’m better than Roman Reigns. I really am,” said Banks during an interview with Bleacher Report.
“I’m the face of SmackDown. I’m better than Drew McIntyre. I am. There are facts; you can look at the science and the numbers. I am the face of the company. I am the best and that’s just who I am.”
Banks has a point as several segments featuring herself and her former friend Bayley have drawn the highest ratings for WWE.
“I’m a legit boss. I’m here to be the gretest, I’m here to make a legacy and I’m here to be the greatest, I’m here to make so much history and create change and create magic, and I already know that I’m doing the right thing.”
While Reigns and McIntyre are set to face off during Survivor Series, Banks is also going to be defending her title during the show against Raw Women’s Champion Asuka.
Banks said she was looking forward to facing Asuka because she has always been a big fan of the “joshi” style of wrestling that Asuka brings, being a Japanese female wrestler.
“I think our styles mesh really well with each other because she’s technical, she knows submissions and she can fly as well,” said Banks about Asuka.
According to Banks, she is sure that the Survivor Series match with Asuka will be a classic, but will end in her favor.
“I am Sasha Banks and I can put that Bank Statement out of nowhere,” she declared.
