Impact World Champion Rich Swann and Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo Retain at Final Resolution

Two of the top championships in Impact Wrestling were successfully defended on Final Resolution pay-per-view.

Current Impact World Champion Rich Swann and Impact Knockouts Champion Deonna Purrazzo were able to stave off their challengers and retain their championships.

Swann faced off against Chris Bey, who put up a good fight scoring several near falls on the champion. In the end, however, Swann was able to hit a Phoenix Splash on Bey which allowed him to get the pinfall victory.

It looks like Swann’s next challenger will be the TNA Champion Moose who came down to the ring after the match to stare at both Swann and the title before walking off and telling interviewer Josh Matthews he could take the championship whenever he wanted.

Meanwhile, Purrazzo faced Rosemary. Purrazzo was accompanied by Kimber Lee while Rosemary had Taya for backup.

It almost looked like Rosemary would be successful as she nailed Purrazzo with The Red Wedding, but Lee provided a crucial distraction, pulling the referee out of the ring.

Lee was chased around the ring by Taya and a distracted Rosemary was hit with a pump kick from Purrazzo who also hit her Cosa Nostra finisher to successfully pin the challenger and retain the Knockouts Championship.
