Impact Wrestling has released a statement with regards to the commentary for their Bound For Glory pay-per-view on October 24.
They will be adding French, German, and Spanish-language commentators to the event. Native language speakers who are fans of Impact will be able to hear commentary feeds in their respective languages.
Impact also revealed the identities of their foreign commentators:
- Spanish: Hector “Moody Jack” Melendez and Konnan
- German: Editor-in-chief of Power-Wrestling Christian Bruns and Ringside podcast host Marcus Holzer
- French: Sylvian Grenier and Marc Blondin.
The English language commentators for Bound For Glory will continue to be Josh Matthews and Don Callis.
The company made the decision to add more foreign language commentators after the success of their Spanish-language coverage of Slammiversary.
“We wanted to go even further and make sure that more wrestling fans across the world could enjoy our biggest night of the year, Bound for Glory, in the language of their choice,” said Impact Executive Vice President Scott D’Amore.
Currently, the Bound For Glory event will feature three of Impact Wrestling’s major titles on the line. It will be available for fans globally on FITE.TV at 8PM ET, which is 5PM PT, on Saturday, October 24.
