Impact Wrestling Teases a Number of WWE Releases For Slammiversary

WWE made wholesale changes to their roster back in April, but by the time Slammiversary takes place on July 18th, all of these stars will be out of their 90-day no-compete clauses.

Impact Wrestling recently put out a teaser video for the show on Twitter with the caption: “You never know where future endeavors may lead.”

The video in question also includes former WWE stars Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson, Maria Kanellis, Eric Young, Drake Maverick, EC3, Mike Kanellis, and Curt Hawkins.

All of the above have appeared in Impact before which allows the company to use their footage. There is also a Bulgarian Flag in the video which teases that Rusev could be heading to Impact Wrestling as well.

Impact recently signed former WWE star Deonna Purrazzo after she was released by WWE as part of their cuts following the COVID-19 pandemic.

The Revival have already made their move over to AEW, while Zack Ryder has hinted that he could be heading to All Elite Wrestling to answer Cody’s open challenge.

There are many other stars who are yet to reveal their direction following their release, but Impact Wrestling has been home to many of them before and could be their place of residence once again.
