Shawn Michaels makes his return to the ring at WWE Crown Jewel on November 2nd when he teams with Triple H against The Brothers of Destruction.
This return has been planned for a number of months and it is reported that there could be a handful of matches in Michaels’ future with many believing that Michaels will take on The Undertaker at Survivor Series.
Other matches that have been rumored for Michaels’ return including a match that could take place between Michaels and AJ Styles at WrestleMania 35. The latest name to be rumored by Joe Peisich from Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast is former World Champion Daniel Bryan.
Of course, Bryan and Michaels have history since Bryan was once part of Michaels training school and Michaels was then the special guest referee for Bryan’s match against Randy Orton back in 2013 and delivered a Super Kick to the former World Champion.
Bryan and Michaels would have a fantastic match and they would easily be able to set up a feud between the two men given their history.
Michaels was reported to have been making a return to the ring for just five matches in the coming months which could include Survivor Series, The Royal Rumble, and WrestleMania which could see The Showstopper face some of the biggest stars in the company right now.
Some other names that have been rumored over the past few months include Johnny Gargano, Seth Rollins and even Velveteen Dream. It is unknown for sure which stars the company has decided to put up against one of the best wrestlers in the world in the coming months but Daniel Bryan vs Shawn Michaels would definitely be a worthy match to headline any wrestling event.
