Survivor Series 2020 will mark 30 years of The Undertaker, who will also make an appearance at the show. Undertaker is one of the most gifted pro-wrestlers of all time.
At Survivor Series 1990, The Deadman made his wrestling debut as part of Ted DiBiase’s Million Dollar Team. A year later, he beat the biggest pro-wrestler of that time, Hulk Hogan, for the WWE Championship.
During the match, fans turned on Hogan and cheered for Undertaker instead. Remembering the moment, the future Hall of Famer talked about it during an interview with Yahoo Sports.
“You’re nervous, then when you do the walkout that night it threw me off because it was like 60-40 the crowd was behind me,” said Undertaker.
“[The fans turned me] and I was the babyface. Here I am trying to be this killer, this scary dude, and you come out and the crowd is leaning toward you. You have to put that out of your mind so you can do business and be what you’re supposed to be, but it was amazing.”
‘Taker is set to appear at Survivor Series for a ‘Final Farewell’. WWE might have an interesting segment planned for him.
