Jake Crist’s Impact Wresting Contract Ends in 2021, to Become a Free Agent

Another Impact Wrestling star could soon be leaving the company. Jake Crist has sent out several Tweets this weekend announcing that he will soon be a free agent.

Crist’s first Tweet featured a black and white photo of himself with the word’s “Free Agent” and “January 1st” on it.

It looks like Crist is saying that his contract with Impact will be ending in the New Year and he’s looking into new prospects.

Crist then posted another Tweet, this time in response to a Twitter message from a fan who tagged Impact Wrestling and told them not to let Crist “slip away”.

This was another black and white photo of himself, behind bars. The photo had the words “Free Agent” on it as well as “Where to Sign? Let them hear your voice!”

Crist signed with Impact in 2017 as part of the tag team Ohio Versus Everything with his real-life brother Dave Crist. Dave, however, was released in June after being named in the #SpeakingOut movement.

Since his brother was fired, effectively breaking up the tag team, Jake hasn’t really been used on TV. His last televised match was back in September.

Crist has held the Impact World Tag Team Championship once with his brother and is also an Impact X Division Champion.
