Jeff Hardy steps inside Hell in a Cell for the first time this weekend when he takes on Randy Orton following what has been an intense rivalry, but Hardy could be looking past Orton on Sunday night since he recently revealed which WWE star he wants to face before he officially retires from the ring.

Hardy recently spoke to CBS Sports where he revealed that he would love to face The Demon, Finn Balor before he decides to call time on what has been a lengthy career in the ring.

“I love his entrance music as it is so rocking and cool and love the face paint. We did a Table for 3 and I had this image in my head with me saying to him, ‘Before it’s all said and done, The Enigma vs. The Demon. It’s gotta happen’ He’ll have his face paint and I’ll have mine and it would be a great moment for the WWE Universe.”

Finn Balor doesn’t currently have a feud on WWE TV and is one of the names who is missing from this weekend’s Hell in a Cell event.

The issue here is that Balor is over on the RAW roster whilst Hardy is on SmackDown but if there is another draft in the near future then both men could end up on the same brand and Hardy would then finally be given his dream match.

The Charismatic Enigma has been part of the wrestling business now for more than two decades but small injuries have been keeping him down over the past few months, which could be why he is already talking about retirement.

His brother Matt has been taken off WWE TV whilst he recovers from a recurring back injury, but there are reports that he may not return.
