Jeff Hardy vs Elias Officially Announced for Hell in a Cell

Elias recently resurfaced on Monday Night Raw after a few months on the sidelines through injury. The Drifter was written off WWE TV as part of a hit and run on SmackDown where Sheamus framed Jeff Hardy and it appears that Elias still believes that Hardy was responsible.

Since The Drifter’s WWE return he has targeted Hardy, and last night on Raw the former World Champion got some revenge when he upstaged Elias while he was giving a preview of his album release.

Hardy is a musically talented star and was given a chance to play a guitar solo where he proved that he was the most talented man on the stage, which definitely annoyed Elias.

Later in the night, Elias challenged Hardy to a match at this weekend’s Hell in a Cell event, but the challenge wasn’t accepted until the youngest of The Hardy Boyz appeared on RAW Talk following the show and made the match official.

At the time of writing, the current card for Hell in a Cell is Drew McIntyre vs Randy Orton for the WWE Championship inside Hell in a Cell, Sasha Banks vs Bayley for the SmackDown Women’s Championship inside Hell in a Cell, and Roman Reigns vs Jey Uso for the Universal Championship inside Hell in a Cell.

Jeff Hardy vs Elias is the first match announced that will not be contested inside the structure.
