Jeff Jarrett and Anthem’s troubles took another turn this week, as Jarrett’s appeal for a trial in his lawsuit against Anthem was turned down by Judge Waverly D.Crenshaw, according to PWInsider.
The reason behind the Judge turning down the trial was that the criminal trials will receive precedence over this trial, and Jarrett will be allowed to request a trial in the future.
The court insisted on the two parties settling outside the court, with the Judge noting that a former Judge, Kevin H. Sharp, is available to serve as a private mediator between the two parties.
This was Jarrett’s second attempt at trial for the lawsuit, which is related to the usage of GFW Amped! tapes. The first trial was deemed as a mistrial by the court.
