Brian Christopher aka Grandmaster Sexay was arrested on July 7th on charges of DUI and evading arrest and has been held in isolation over the past few weeks. The son of WWE Hall of Famer Jerry Lawler was found after an apparent attempted suicide on Sunday morning in his cell and was then rushed to hospital after all initial attempts at resuscitation failed.

Jerry Lawler was forced to travel back from Raleigh North Carolina to Memphis to be at his son’s side in the hospital where it was reported that the former WWE star was kept on life support so that his father was able to say his goodbyes when he arrived at the hospital. Jerry has remained silent in the days since his passing was revealed but the WWE Hall of Famer recently broke his silence when he spoke to Memphis’ Fox 13 news’ Zach Crenshaw and revealed the heartbreaking details of his son’s final moments.

Lawler opened up about the fact that he was “glad to hold his son’s hand when his heart stopped beating around 3:30 p.m” before turning his attention to The Hardeman County Jail where his son was being held ahead of this weekend’s events, but the jail is currently under investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

The former commentator hinted that he believes “there may be more to this than meets the eye” but wasn’t able to comment further since there was an investigation currently underway and he had been told not to divulge anything else publically until the investigation was finalized.

Visitation and funeral services for Christopher will take place on Friday at Hope Church in Memphis, Tennessee at 2:00 pm.
