Jey Uso Suffers Minor Injury at Elimination Chamber, Provides Update on Brother Jimmy

Jey Uso took to Instagram to reveal that he suffered a minor toe injury during the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view last Sunday.

Uso was part of the first Elimination Chamber where SmackDown superstars competed to get a chance at the Universal Championship held by Uso’s cousin and Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns.

In his Instagram Stories, Uso shared photos of a bruised toe.

“Went to war last night, one of my toes ain’t make it!!!” he wrote in the caption.

In another Instagram Story, Jey revealed that his twin brother Jimmy was at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando. He shared some videos of Jimmy training, reportedly for his in-ring return.

Jimmy has been out of action since WrestleMania 36 where he suffered a knee injury in a triple threat ladder match. He had needed reconstructive knee surgery and had been originally earmarked for a return between November 2020 and January 2021.

However, last December, it was announced that Jimmy’s expected in-ring return would be either in January or February 2021.

Jimmy was originally part of Jey’s storyline with Reigns during Reign’s first few months as the Universal Champion. Though he was not medically cleared and playing injured, he was involved in a few backstage angles and appeared ringside to support his twin brother.
