WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross recently expressed his opinions a variety of pro-wrestling topics on his podcast, The Ross Report . Among other topics, Ross talked about SummerSlam and elucidated the WWE Universal Championship match featuring Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns.

SummerSlam would mark the fourth championship encounter between Lesnar and Reigns. The first time the two men took on each other was at WrestleMania 31 where Seth Rollins cashed-in his Money In The Bank briefcase and walked out as WWE Champion.

After that, Reigns again got the opportunity to take the WWE Universal Championship off The Beast’s shoulders at WrestleMania 34 but failed miserably. The same result followed in the Greatest Royal Rumble that took place in April, 2018, although that match ended in a controversial finish.

Ross assumed that the WWE Universal Championship match would possibly close The Biggest Party Of Summer. The Hall Of Famer said that the Universal Championship bout main eventing SummerSlam might turn out to be problematic.

“Reigns and Lesnar I guess will go on last at SummerSlam.” Ross said, “I assume that. I don’t know that. But if it is the last match of a long night, is that position you want to have your Universal title displayed under?

“I’m not sure. I’m not sure at all and I wonder what kind of reaction these two gentlemen are going to receive from the live audience. And if it is overtly negative, is that the image or the sound that you go off the air with? Just my question.”
