Jim Ross says Dean Ambrose is “Ready to be a featured guy”

Jim Ross is leaving WWE and so is Dean Ambrose.

The Hall Of Famer is reportedly inking a multi-year deal with All Elite Wrestling that’s bound to fetch him $1 million per year. While no such AEW update is available on Ambrose, it is widely believed that he will join the new promotion upon his WWE exit.

On The Ross Report, Good Ol’ JR talked about The Moral Compass and made a bold statement regarding the former WWE Champion: Ambrose is ready to be a major player in the pro wrestling business.

“Wherever Ambrose may land in his next gig, he will be a major player. He’s ready to be a featured guy, not another top guy.”

“He’s had great work since he said he was leaving. His work has been exemplary. He hasn’t called anything in, he has had great matches, great effort. Wherever he’s going, somebody’s getting a player.”

It is being rumored that Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins could be the reason behind Ambrose’s impending exit from WWE.

Perhaps, The Moral Compass knows that he will forever be treated as the third-best member of The Shield, and with his brothers around, WWE will never consider him as the first choice when it comes to handing main event title opportunities.

WWE called Enzo Amore before Survivor Series

Former WWE Superstar Enzo Amore crashed last year’s Survivor Series during the RAW Tag Team Championship match featuring The Bar vs. AOP. Amore was kicked out of the arena and later, Staples Center banned him for life.

In a recent video, Real1 revealed that WWE had called him ahead of Survivor Series but he didn’t bother to answer.

“They called me by the way. Before. They called me before I invaded Survivor Series.”

“I knew what I was gonna do so I wasn’t gonna answer the phone.”
