John Cena could be retiring from the squared circle soon.



Cena has been on and off WWE for the last few years due to his part-time schedule in the company. Riding high on Hollywood, Cena could be hanging up his boots sooner than expected.



During a recent interview with <a href="https://www.thewrap.com/john-cena-wwe-return-fifth-grader/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener" aria-label=" (opens in a new tab)">The Wrap</a>, The Champ made it known that the WWE doesn&#8217;t need him at this point and he had to take a step back to realize the (harsh) truth.

Cena had a brief segment with Elias as the Doctor of Thuganomics at WrestleMania 35. However, the 16-time World Champion didn&#8217;t wrestle a match at the event for the first time in 15 years.
