John Cena Injured, Alexa Bliss Cleared, Lacey Evans & Heavy Machinery Debuts On RAW, Demon King

John Cena Injured

16-time World Champion John Cena is injured, per WWE. The Champ is said to have suffered an ankle injury during the main event of Monday Night RAW last week. The injury aggravated as Cena hit the gym to train his legs yesterday.

Cena’s injury has put his status for Royal Rumble in serious doubt. WWE must come up with a proper backup plan if The Franchise fails to make it to the Men’s Royal Rumble match this Sunday.

No Demon King For Royal Rumble

Finn Bálor will square off against Brock Lesnar for the WWE Universal Championship this Sunday at Royal Rumble.

During a recent interview with ESPN, The Extraordinary Man made it clear that there will be no Demon King when he steps in the ring with Lesnar on January 27.

“I feel like maybe I leaned on the demon too much there in the past as a crutch, and I can assure you that the man who faces Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble will be Finn Bálor, the man.”

“I don’t have any new gear, I don’t have any new looks, I don’t have any new ideas right now, but you know, we’re still six days away, so I’m sure I’ll come up with something.”

It would have been interesting if WWE billed the match as The Beast vs. The Demon with a tight finish to crown the winner. Bálor brought back his Demon persona at last year’s SummerSlam against “Constable” Baron Corbin.
