No Plans For John Cena At WrestleMania?

John Cena has been missing from WWE TV for the best part of the past year and while he concentrates on business outside of the ring, WWE is now focused on the Road to WrestleMania.

Originally, the plan was for Cena to make his return to the company and take on Lars Sullivan at the Show of Shows, but since Sullivan has been having a number of personal issues and failed to appear on the main roster at all, this plan has now changed.

The 16 time World Champion is currently filming his latest movie in Canada, but according to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer, at present, he doesn’t actually have an opponent at the biggest show of the year, which means that he could potentially miss out.

There was a rumor that stated that Cena could be facing Samoa Joe, but now that his match with Rey Mysterio has been made official and Kurt Angle‘s retirement match is set to be against Baron Corbin, it is hard to see where he would fit into WWE’s plans.

Is Prince Mysterio Coming To WWE?

This week on SmackDown Live, Rey Mysterio brought his son Dominic with him to the show to announce that he would be taking on Samoa Joe for the United States Championship at WrestleMania 35.

Dominic is well known to the WWE Universe after he was embroiled in a bitter feud between Rey Mysterio and Eddie Guerrero back in 2005, which ended with Mysterio winning custody of his real-life son.

Over the past decade, Dominic has been working hard and learning the trade and is now part of Lance Storm’s wrestling academy, but the fact that Mysterio recently trademarked the name “Prince Mysterio” has led many fans to question as to whether or not this will be his son’s ring name when he finally debut’s in WWE.

Dominic will be at ringside at WrestleMania, so it will be interesting to see if he decides to involve himself in his father’s match on April 7th.
