It was reported a couple of weeks ago that 16-time World Champion John Cena lost 18 pounds while in China for his upcoming film “Project X”. Cena has been training at the Jackie Chan Stunt Team International Training Center in Beijing.
This time however, The Leader of Cenation had something even bigger for his fans as he took to Twitter to unveil his new ridiculously shredded physique. Cena now looks extremely shredded, reminding fans of The Prototype from the early 2000’s in WWE developmental.

Cena also posted a video to hype his match for WWE Super Show-Down. The match was originally billed as Cena vs. Kevin Owens but was later changed to a tag team match featuring Cena and Bobby Lashley vs. Owens and Elias.

Cena missed SummerSlam 2018 for the first time in 15 years as he was in China for filming purposes.
First time in 15 years I have not been able to be a part of @WWE #SummerSlam. I am beyond grateful to @EyeOfJackieChan but truly miss the @WWEUniverse. Wishing all Superstars luck and safety! My time isn’t quite up, but #YourTimeIsNow! #CarpeDiem

“Project X” will feature Cena alongside the king of movie stunts and Hollywood icon, Jackie Chan. The Champ replaced legendary Hollywood action hero, Sylvester Stallone who was initially slated for the movie.

The richest WWE Superstar will be teaming up with Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor to take on the team of “Constable” Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, and Elias at WWE Shanghai.
