John Cena hasn’t been seen in a WWE ring since The Greatest Royal Rumble when he was victorious in his match against WWE COO Triple H.
Cena revealed earlier this month that he was working on a sixth move of doom ahead of his return to the company at WWE Shanghai on September 1st.

PWInsider revealed earlier today that John Cena would be in six-man tag team action when he travels to China next month, as he teams up with Bobby Lashley and Finn Balor against the team of Constable Baron Corbin, Jinder Mahal, and Elias.
Whilst there was speculation earlier this month that Cena would make his return to WWE at SummerSlam to take on The Undertaker in a rematch from WrestleMania, The Biggest Party of the Summer is just days away and this is now looking highly unlikely, which means that Shanghai will be where Cena makes his long-awaited return to the ring.
Other matches set to take place that night include Roman Reigns vs Braun Strowman, which could be a hint that Strowman could be cashing in his contract at SummerSlam to become Universal Champion and then opening up a feud with Roman Reigns.
Seth Rollins will continue his feud with Dolph Ziggler as the two men collide one on one in the south-east, whilst Cedric Alexander faces Drew Gulak in another rematch from this weekend’s SummerSlam event.
Cena is also advertised for the Australian Super Show-Down on October 6th alongside The Undertaker, who has recently been advertised for SmackDown’s 1000th episode later that month, it will be interesting to see if the two men cross paths as part of their upcoming appearances.
