John Cena is a former 16-time World Champion but over the past few months Cena has been working a limited schedule with WWE and was last seen when he wrestled in Australia as part of Super Show-Down.
Cena hasn’t been part of WWE TV for a number of months, but most recently it was revealed by PWInsider that The Doctor of Thuganomics will be returning to WWE on Boxing Day.
Cena’s schedule shows that he will be part of a number of WWE Live Events that will begin on December 26th and go through into the end of the year.
Interestingly, the former World Champion won’t be part of any TV events throughout this time, but he will be part of both Raw and SmackDown Live events as he continues his duties as a free agent.
Below is a list of dates and locations that Cena is set to be part of next month.
December 26: Raw live event in Madison Square Garden.
December 27: SmackDown live event at Nassau Coliseum in Long Island, NY.
December 28: SmackDown live event in Baltimore, Maryland.
December 30: SmackDown live event in Tampa, Florida.
John Cena has been busy outside of WWE and has a new movie entitled Bumblebee set to be released in the coming months. It appears that the former Champion has focused on a lot of projects outside of the company throughout his time away and this has allowed WWE to move onto a new face of the company.
It’s a shock that Cena isn’t set to return to WWE TV throughout this time, but he is still a name that many fans expect to be a surprise entrant in The 2019 Royal Rumble.
