Former WWE Superstar John Morrison (aka Johnny Impact / Johnny Mundo) recently spoke with CBS DC on a variety of topics. One such topic was on whether Morrison is interested in a future WWE return and the high-flyer replied with the following:
“WWE is a great company. There is nothing specific on the horizon between me and them right now. I plan on staying with Lucha Underground for a while. As far as do I see anything on the horizon? Who knows.”
“When I left WWE in 2012, I was planning on taking a year off, and now that’s turned into quite a while. But I couldn’t be happier outside of WWE right now, because of places like MLW, Impact Wrestling, Lucha Underground and independent promotions all over the place.”
“There are a lot of really cool places to work outside of WWE, and I’m having a really great time doing that right now.”
Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live announcer Corey Graves quit social media citing the “toxic” and “exhausting” environment that Twitter is embraced with. The former NXT Superstar has turned out to be a fan-favorite serving as one of the main voices in WWE. Graves tweeted the following in what might have been his last tweet ever:
Unfortunately, social media has become a very toxic place. People don’t know where to draw the line.
It’s become more exhausting than productive to me. Some things in life are more important than “likes” and “followers.”
I urge you to explore that.
