Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa have carved out fantastic careers for themselves while spending the entirety of their stay in WWE on the NXT brand.

Both the stars have achieved tremendous success in the tag-team division as well as the singles division, with Gargano being the only Triple Crown champion on the brand.

Gargano recently spoke with Sports Illustrated and indicated that he wants to add to his legacy by having a match with Triple H and Shawn Michaels. Triple H is currently the head of NXT, while Michaels works as a trainer and producer on NXT.

When he was asked about a potential match between DIY and a fantasy team of Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart, the former NXT Champion had this interesting response.

“If we can still make that happen, I’ll still do it. That would be so great. Me and Tommaso have pushed in the past to wrestle Shawn and Hunter, and that is something that could potentially happen, or maybe something we’re just dreaming. But me and Tommaso against Shawn and BRET would be amazing. That would have been a really fun dynamic.”

Triple H and Shawn Michaels haven’t worked for quite some time now, but both are in great shape and wrestled at Crown Jewel in 2018. A match against DIY won’t be a mega-match but it would surely be a dream match for the fans.

Gargano and Ciampa aren’t in the title picture right now, but both are aligned differently in their characters. A possible reunion could always happen down the line, but it seems unlikely.
