Jon Moxley is making noise with his revelations on various podcasts and isn’t holding back from shelling out his two cents whenever possible.
WWE has hired Paul Heyman and Eric Bischoff as the new Executive Directors of Monday Night RAW and SmackDown Live respectively. The WWE Universe is really hopeful that the two icons will make the product enjoyable once again but for that to happen, Vince McMahon must eliminate the micromanagement that his company has forever been pestered with.
While speaking to The Store Horsemen, Moxley candidly discussed the potential of Heyman and Bischoff with the CEO being the main factor in the equation.
“They definitely made some kind of move. Paul Heyman is really smart it sounds like that is a great idea. I just hope Vince lets them do their ideas. It’s not just, ‘I made him head of creative, but I’m telling him what to do type of thing.'”
Heyman is already leading the charge on RAW but Bischoff will be carrying out his duties post-Extreme Rules.
“Eric Bischoff was behind the NWO, he also presided over some crappy WCW shows. He is probably pretty motivated to make you forget that part of the resume. The more wrestling that is good, the more fans that there are and the better it is for everybody.”
McMahon must let The Advocate and Uncle E explore their boundaries in order to bring the much-necessary change in WWE’s programming. The Heyman Era kicked off last week and the WWE Universe is quite happy with the product so far.
We previously reported that WWE is planning to ditch the PG Era for an edgier product and for that to take effect, Heyman and Bischoff must be given complete freedom if they are to turn things around.
