Jon Moxley has won four matches in a row as part of the G1 Climax but it appears that the former WWE star still has one eye on his match against Kenny Omega at All Out in just over a month’s time.
Moxley attacked Omega when he made his AEW debut at Double or Nothing back in June before Omega set the record straight when he attacked the former WWE Champion following his match with Joey Janela at Fyter Fest a few weeks ago.
Chris Van Vliet recently spoke to Moxley ahead of their showdown where the man formerly known as Dean Ambrose sent quite the warning to Omega.
“I only know one speed, I put my foot on the gas pedal and I press it to the floor. I love wrestling and I do it every day 24/7, for a while that got taken away from me and I’m never going to let that get taken away again. At this point Kenny Omega is a myth, he’s lore, he’s legend, he’s this idea, the legend of Kenny Omega, the greatest wrestler that ever lived.”
“Whether or not I buy the legend of Kenny Omega, believe me, brother I’m taking it very very seriously. That’s why I’m going all over Japan learning all your styles, learning all your tricks of the trade, learning everything about who you are, what you do, where you come from.”
“Kenny Omega The Myth seems to think I’m some kind of joke, well we’re going to be in the ring together and I assure you that’s it’s not going to be the least bit funny when I break your f**king jaw. This ain’t a f**king video game dude, you only get one life. I’m trying to hurt you, I’m trying to injure you and I’m going to.”
Joey Janela, Darby Allin, and Jimmy Havoc lost their six-man tag team match at Fight For The Fallen but the three men will still be part of All Out since it was announced as part of The Road To AEW All Out that Joey Janela vs. Darby Allin vs. Jimmy Havoc will happen on August 31st.
