Jon Moxley Talks Going Back to WWE in the Future: “I Don’t Not Like Money”

Former AEW World Champion Jon Moxley gave an interview to the Bleacher Report where he talked about the possibility of taking a call from WWE.

Before signing with AEW, Moxley was Dean Ambrose in WWE. He debuted as part of the faction, The Shield, alongside Seth Rollins and the current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Moxley was asked if he is still in contact with Reigns and Rollins, to which he answered to the affirmative, though he added it was only “occasionally” as they were all busy.

“That’s the good thing about wrestling,” noted Moxley. “It’s never goodbye, it just sees you along the way. When you go through certain things with people, you’re always bonded.”

This line of questioning led to the interviewer asking if there was a chance where he would end up in WWE again.

According to Moxley, while he was happy and proud to be in AEW, you could never really say never in the wrestling industry.

“I wouldn’t rule out ever doing business for them again, we had a mutually beneficial relationship for a long time. If they called I would listen, but I highly doubt we would be on the same page,” he said.

Moxley then made a little joke about it, referencing the fact that he and his wife Renee Paquette are expecting their first child.

“I don’t not like money,” he said. “I got a kid on the way and gotta put it through college.”
