<p>JTG, who wrestled in the WWE as one-half of the tag team Cryme Tyme with the recently deceased Shad Gaspar, wants a shot at the AEW TNT Championship.</p>



<p>The championship is currently held by Cody, who won the TNT Championship Tournament and has since been defending the title weekly against other AEW superstars as well as “guests” from the independent scene.</p>



<p>JTG made his challenge to Cody by Tweeting out a fan art graphic made up to look like an AEW promo.</p>



<p>“Don’t you love fan art?” reads the caption. JTG made sure to tag Cody as well.</p>

<p>As of the writing of this post, there has been no response from Cody yet.</p>



<p>Since winning it, Cody has defended the TNT title against Jungle Boy, Marq Quen, Ricky Starks, Jake Hager, Sonny Kiss, and Eddie Kingston.</p>



<p>It was announced by AEW yesterday that the next challenger for the TNT Title would be War Horse. War Horse is an indie fan favorite whose potential as a challenger for Cody was mentioned by Arn Anderson during the Road to Fight For the Fallen YouTube special.</p>

<p>The match between Cody and War Horse is set for the next episode of TNT on Dynamite this Wednesday.</p>
