Jungle Boy Has New Theme Song, Tony Khan Buys Rights to “Tarzan Boy”

During the latest episode of AEW Dark, Jungle Boy was scheduled for a singles match against Nick Comoroto. Jungle Boy walked out into the ring with a new theme song, “Tarzan Boy”.

AEW President Tony Khan Tweeted afterward that the rights to the song have been purchased specifically to be used as Jungle Boy’s entrance theme. He ended the Tweet with a “Merry Christmas, Jack”.

Jungle Boy, real name Jack Perry, has been a member of the AEW roster since the promotion’s start. He is part of the faction Jurassic Express, with Luchasaurus and Marco Stunt.

“Tarzan Boy” is a song by Baltimora, which was originally released in 1985. It has since been re-recorded and released again in 1993. The song makes use of the distinctive “Tarzan” yell sound effect as part of its melody.

Jungle Boy, who was victorious against Comoroto, has re-tweeted Khan, thanking him.

Another AEW talent, Taz, who was in commentary during Dark, retweeted a video clip of Jungle Boy entrance with his new theme. According to Taz, it was “awesome” to be there to see Jungle Boy and his new theme.

He predicts that when Jungle Boy makes his entrance to the theme with a “packed arena”, the crowd will be singing along.
