Renee Young first said the new nickname on commentary which was then quickly carried forward by Michael Cole and Corey Graves.
Batista’s Status For WrestleMania 35 In Doubt
Dave Bautista has landed a new movie role with the “Dune” reboot starring Timothee Chalamet, per Variety. If the movie sticks with the current plan of starting production next month, then that would put The Animal’s status for WrestleMania 35 in serious doubt.
Batista and Triple H have been rumored to clash at the Metlife Stadium since SmackDown 1000, a match that The Animal himself has yearned for years. Batista’s exclusion from this year’s WrestleMania would also put his current retirement plans in question.

“If you’re looking for an outside guy, I don’t know there’s Kenny Omega I guess. He’s a fellow Canadian and a guy who has a lot of talent and would be a huge addition to this company, who knows? I mean we’ll see what happens.”
