During Impact Wrestling’s Final Resolution pay-per-view, AEW World Heavyweight Champion Kenny Omega and Don Callis appeared in a tour bus outside the venue.
While Omega is advertised for next week’s episode of Impact, his appearance at Final Resolution was not announced. Given that, there were a lot of questions about what he was doing there.
Backstage correspondent Gia Miller attempted to talk to Omega but was told by Callis that the duo was only at Impact to “reunite with family”.
Current Impact Wrestling Tag Team Champion Karl Anderson, who was part of the Bullet Club in New Japan Pro Wrestling with his tag team partner Luke Gallows and Omega, entered the tour bus which remained parked outside the venue.
The three men reminisced about their time in Japan before Anderson had to leave as he had a match against Ethan Page during Final Resolution, Omega and Callis challenged him to show his “Machine Gun” side that night.
“Machine Gun” was Anderson’s nickname in NJPW and he seemed to take the challenge to heart, dispatching page with his Gun Stun finisher to win the match against Page.
Page who tags with Josh Alexander as The North had previously injured Gallows. The singles match on Final Resolution was to determine if The North would get a shot at the Tag Team Titles. Page’s defeat means The North won’t get their shot for now.
