WWE Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash’s illustrious pro wrestling career has spanned for three decades and the big man has seen the times change before his eyes.
Over the years, the pro wrestling industry has evolved at a rapid pace. While these changes have received a mixed reaction from fans, it’s the old-school wrestling that people still love above everything else.
During an interview with That Hashtag Show, Nash, who is a master of playing his kayfabe role perfectly, slammed today’s generation of wrestlers for not selling anything anymore, in and outside the ring.
“Nobody sells shit. To me, it’s just like nobody sells anything. To us, it was always to sell and get the double downs and the falses. Now with guys kicking out on one on moonsaults.”
Big Sexy isn’t a fan of wrestlers kicking out of difficult pinning situations and multiple near-falls either.
“I also don’t want to be the guy – I remember guys that were our agents when we broke in saying ‘Kid, we used to do 60 minutes through’ and you watch 60 minutes through and they’re in a headlock for 48 minutes of it. Everything evolves. I think sometimes the women have better psychology than the guys do.”
