Kurt Angle was handed the job as Raw General Manager following his Hall of Fame induction last April and was only recently sent on vacation by Commissioner Stephanie McMahon who didn’t agree with the route that Raw was taking under his leadership.

Baron Corbin was made acting General Manager in his absence and has so far been running riot on the flagship show being able to cash in on his authority by giving himself a Universal Championship match a few weeks ago.

Corbin and Stephanie have had a number of altercations in recent weeks where the Commissioner has warned him about the direction that Raw is going in and now it could be time for Kurt Angle to make his return and fight for his job.

Joe Peisich recently revealed on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast that Angle was expected to make his return this Saturday as part of Super Show-Down in Australia.

“Kurt Angle, everybody wants to know what’s happening with Kurt Angle. He has been contacted, I just received a text — Kurt Angle may be appearing at the Super Show-Down.believe it or not,” he said via Ringsidenews.

It was reported a few weeks ago that Angle was training ahead of an in-ring return with WWE and that he could make his return and pick up a feud with Baron Corbin.

It is unknown how this will happen at Super Show-Down, but it will be interesting to have the Raw General Manager back on TV after weeks of watching Corbin take sides with the heel stars on the show.

With Survivor Series now just weeks away, this could be the beginning of the build-up to one of WWE’s biggest events of the year.
