Angle, Lita & Trish Will Be At The Royal Rumble

There have already been a number of names announced for the Royal Rumble matches this weekend, including the likes of Alexa Bliss, Charlotte Flair, Seth Rollins and Drew McIntyre.

While John Cena’s status for the Royal Rumble is now up in the air due to injury, there are a number of WWE legends who are expected to be part of the match on Sunday night.

Joe Peisich recently mentioned (twice) on Barnburner’s No Holds Barred podcast that Kurt Angle, Trish Stratus and Lita could all be part of the headline matches.

“Kurt Angle will be at the Royal Rumble from what I hear. Kurt Angle will be at the Royal Rumble,”.

“I have heard that Trish Stratus and Lita will once again be appearing at the ladies Royal Rumble on Sunday,” he said via Ringsidenews

Lita and Trish Stratus were both part of the Women’s Royal Rumble last year and they are expected to put on a fantastic show once again this year, even though WWE are yet to announce the two women, so they could be surprise additions.

Velveteen Dream Expected To Be Part Of The Men’s Royal Rumble

Velveteen Dream is shockingly one of the names that have been left off the NXT Takeover: Phoenix card, which has left him seemingly frustrated if his recent tweets are anything to go by.

Dream has recently made his Twitter private after a number of public Tweets about his ability and his future, but despite this, Joe Peisich believes that Dream could be a welcome addition to the men’s Royal Rumble match.

“Everyone is asking what surprises we will see at the Royal Rumble […] Velveteen Dream looks like he will be at the Royal Rumble,” he said via Ringsidenews.

Dream has been one of the most popular stars on the NXT roster over the past few years and the best swerve that the company could have planned for him would be for him to be added to the Royal Rumble.
