Kurt Angle hasn’t been seen on WWE TV since November when he was forced to tap to his own Ankle Lock in a match against Drew McIntyre in the United Kingdom.

The WWE Hall of Famer seemed as though he had passed the torch to the Scottish Star in the match and could now be looking to return to his authoritative duties with WWE.

This weekend at TLC, Baron Corbin’s job as Raw General Manager will be on the line when he takes on Braun Strowman in a TLC match, if he loses then he loses his job, but if he can find a way past The Monster Among Men, then he will land the job permanently.

Right now, Strowman’s status for TLC is still up in the air, but PWInsider is reporting that Kurt Angle is expected to be part of Raw, live from Sacramento next week.

This could be a hint about Corbin’s future since Angle is only technically on “vacation” which was forced by Stephanie McMahon. If The Commissioner of Raw returns to take Corbin out of his current job, then it’s likely she will hand it back to Kurt Angle, since there are no other real candidates.

Reports following Angle’s “forced vacation” were that he was looking to step back into the ring which was why he was written out of the show as an authority figure.

Angle has been part of a handful of matches since but heading into next year’s WrestleMania, it is unknown as to whether or not he wants to be wrestling on the card.

TLC: Tables, Ladders and Chairs is now merely days away and it could hold all the answers as to why Angle will be in attendance and whether or not Corbin will be the General Manager of Raw when the company lands in Sacramento on Monday afternoon.
