As of May 24, 2018, WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar’s title reign stands at 416 days which is not overly short of longest reigning WWE Champion of The Modern Era, Cm Punk’s record 434 days title reign. However, with Lesnar not scheduled to defend at the June 17th Money In The Bank Pay-Per-View, he is undoubtedly breaking Punk’s record reign by default. As of this writing, The Second City Saint had defended the WWE Championship 22 times whereas The Beast has ranked up only 6 defences.
Monday Night RAW General Manager Kurt Angle hasn’t done much in the ring in his latest WWE stint, but the 1996 Olympic Gold Medallist insists on still having what it takes to conquer The Conqueror.
Recently, a WWE fan shared a GIF from Angles’ historic WrestleMania 19 match against Lesnar to which the The Olympic Hero and 6-time World Champion replied,
“I tamed the beast once. Bet I could do it again. #itstrue”

Angle lost the WWE Championship to Lesnar at WrestleMania 19 and the two legends then got embroiled in a heated rivalry. However, The Beast lost the title to the WWE Hall of Famer shortly after at Vengeance in a Triple Threat Match which also featured The Big Show.
