Will Lana wrestle for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania?
The Raw Women’s Championship has dominated the Women’s Division ever since the Royal Rumble, but finally the triple threat match between Becky Lynch, Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair has been made official and the WWE can now focus on the SmackDown Women’s Division.
Asuka successfully defended her title against Mandy Rose at Fastlane, which means that she will be looking for a new challenger for WrestleMania and Lana believes that should be her.
The former Total Divas star has had some high profile matches in her career, but she’s currently injured and it’s unknown how long she will be on the sidelines.
It appears that the fact that Mandy Rose announced that she would face Asuka at Fastlane and was then given the match has now led Lana to believe she can achieve the same and it will be interesting to see if The McMahon Family feel the same way.
Does WWE have huge WrestleMania plans for Finn Balor?
Finn Balor lost his Intercontinental Championship to Bobby Lashley this week on Raw, which has left many members of the WWE Universe confused as to why the company booked him to drop the title so close to WrestleMania.
WrestleVotes has shared the following Tweet which seems to give Balor fans hope heading into the biggest event of the year. Many believed that The Demon King could have been facing Lashley in an attempt to regain his title next month, but now there could be much bigger plans for the former Universal Champion at The Showcase of the Immortals.
Last year Balor was part of the triple threat Intercontientnal Championship match alongside Seth Rollins and The Miz, a match that was one of the highlights of the show, so it will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for the Irish star in New York this year.
