Lars Sullivan Comments on His WWE Release

It was revealed by PWinsider yesterday that Lars Sullivan was released from the company almost a month ago.

The Freak was quietly let go and the company failed to announce his departure publicly, which reportedly came as a shock to Sullivan who Fightful recently reached out to.

The site reached out to Sullivan who confirmed that he had been released by the company as well as revealing that he had been struggling with anxiety.

Sullivan revealed that he told WWE he was done with wrestling because his anxiety was stopping him from eating and sleeping during show days.

He also revealed that his father passed away last year which resulted in him having a rollercoaster year. The former NXT star even went on to reference some of the recent struggles in his personal life.

Sullivan stated that he was “his own worst enemy, and owned up to multiple issues that prevented him from gaining traction in what he called his dream job.”

The former WWE star went on to claim that he was likely done with wrestling and blamed himself for many of his issues since joinging the company.

Sullivan was last seen on WWE TV back in 2020 when he was part of a sit-down interview with Michael Cole.

This was recently seen as WWE sabotaging the former star ahead of his release since the company had reportedly already made their decision to release the star at that time.
