Just when Andrade was serving his suspension ahead of WrestleMania 36, Austin Theory joined Zelina Vega’s stable and teamed up with Angel Garza for a RAW Tag Team Title opportunity at The Show Of Shows.
The duo failed to win the titles, but the program seemingly cemented Theory’s spot on the main roster. However, shortly after Andrade’s return, Theory was kicked out of the stable following which he joined Seth Rollins’ Greater Good, only to disappear later on.
According to Ringside News, Theory’s name simply stopped coming up in the writers’ room. There’s “total silence” regarding his situation and nobody knows why his name is excluded from the current storylines.
Theory is still under contract with WWE but isn’t being used on television.
Theory’s absence from RAW comes during a time when the #SpeakingOut movement has brought justice against wrestlers involved in sexual misconduct.
The 22-year-old former EVOLVE star was called out for his inappropriate behavior with a young girl. Shortly after those accusations, a positive COVID-19 test in WWE led to widespread testing in the company and Theory hasn’t appeared on RAW ever since.
It remains to be seen when Theory can make it back to WWE television.
