Leyla Hirsch Announces Return to Independent Wrestling After AEW Exit

Leyla Hirsch has officially returned to the independent wrestling scene following her departure from AEW and ROH. On March 18, Hirsch announced her comeback on social media, expressing excitement after taking time to “reflect and recharge.”

Hirsch originally joined AEW in 2020, impressing with her amateur wrestling background and competing against stars like Serena Deeb, Thunder Rosa, and Kris Statlander. She transitioned to ROH in 2022 but was sidelined for over a year due to a knee injury.
After her 2023 return, she aligned with The Kingdom before concluding her run with a loss to Red Velvet at Final Battle 2024.
While there’s no confirmed WWE NXT interest at this time, according to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the door remains open for future opportunities.
