Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson main-evented WrestleMania 36 Night One, appearing along with their buddy AJ Styles in his match against The Undertaker, which is now referred to as Taker’s last hurrah.
They were released a few days later, along with several other stars, and are currently exploring their choices as they go through a ninety-day no-compete clause.
It was reported a few weeks ago that Impact Wrestling is planning to bring in the Good Brothers, along with superstars like EC3, Rusev, Maria and Mike Kanellis, for the July 19th Slammaniversary show.
Anderson and Gallows are also negotiating a deal to return to NJPW. Apart from this, the former Bullet Club members are apparently planning to open a new wrestling promotion of their own.
These plans were revealed on Living The Gimmick: A Pro Wrestling Podcast, and apparently the duo has some footage ready for it. Gallows and Anderson debuted in WWE in 2016, after a run together in NJPW for several years.
Anderson and Gallows also filed trademarks for their characters from Southpaw Regional Wrestling, ‘Chad 2 Badd’ and ‘Sex Ferguson’, and could be looking to bring those characters to life in their own promotion.
Anderson recently tweeted that he will never be returning to WWE, and also teased a major announcement for July 19th.
