Luke Harper just can’t seem to catch a break. He was one of the stand out talents in The Wyatt Family and was even given an Intercontinental Championship reign a few years ago, but since the split, he has been the most overlooked member.
Whilst Braun Strowman has gone on to be a main eventer and Bray Wyatt has lifted the WWE Championship, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan have remained as a tag team and reinvented themselves as The Bludgeon Brothers.
The Bludgeon Brothers finally got that push towards the SmackDown Tag Team Championships earlier this year and went on to successfully defend their titles at SummerSlam, before it was revealed that Rowan had suffered a torn bicep and would be sidelined until 2019.
Harper and Rowan dropped their titles just days later to The New Day and the former Champion was then sent down to NXT for a few matches because WWE had no idea what to do with him.
There was a rumor that Wyatt and Harper were set to invade the match between Brock Lesnar and Braun Strowman at Crown Jewel to help their former family member to win the Intercontinental Championship, but it appears that there could be a reason why this didn’t happen, since Harper is dealing with an injury of his own.
Harper recently appeared on Brad Williams show, where he was photographed wearing a cast on his left arm, which means that he recently broke his arm.
Since Rowan isn’t expected back for another four months, this means that Harper has enough time to recover before he can dust himself off and go back after those Tag Team Championships.
