Last night on Raw saw the return of two legendary women wrestlers to the WWE ring. Trish Stratus and Lita renewed their friendship and are now going to be focusing their energies into beating upstart Alexa Bliss and old-rival Mickie James.

Prior to last night’s Raw, Lita and Stratus had already been announced for the upcoming all-women pay-per-view, WWE Evolution.

Stratus had been set to battle current WWE superstar, the self-proclaimed Goddess Alexa Bliss. Lita, on the other hand, had been set to face an old rival in the form of Mickie James.

However, last night saw Stratus coming to the ring to address Bliss, who had been trash talking her on last week’s Raw. Bliss and James came out to respond and cornered Stratus in the ring.

The talk then turned to how much all the women in the ring wanted to face each other during Evolution in a tag match. Bliss and James seemed to think they had the upper hand on Stratus, but Stratus had an ace up her sleeve.

Trish had a tag team partner ready to go then and there in the form of Hall of Famer Lita. Lita stormed the ring and joined Stratus. The two quickly expelled James and Bliss from the ring, leaving them standing tall and in control.

So now, the two matches announced for WWE Evolution have become one single tag match. Which pair of women will be standing in the end? Watch Evolution on October 28 at 7 ET/5 PT to find out.
