Dean Ambrose and Jason Jordan have both been missing for the best part of 2018, Ambrose hasn’t wrestled on WWE TV in this calendar year since he’s been sidelined with a tricep injury since December, whilst Jordan was forced out of action back in February when it was revealed that he needed minor neck surgery.

Jordan has been cleared to return for a number of months now, but WWE is still yet to find a way for the former Tag Team Champion to make his return, whilst it is thought that Dean Ambrose will be ready to return to WWE in the next month.

Dave Meltzer recently reported on The Wrestling Observer, that the plan is for Jason Jordan to return to partner Chad Gable, whilst Ambrose will come to the aid of his partner Seth Rollins.

“The last I heard was it was gonna be (Jason) Jordan and (Chad) Gable again—and, (Seth) Rollins and (Dean) Ambrose as the teams—not Rollins and Jason Jordan.” He said via Sportskeeda.

Chad Gable hasn’t featured on WWE TV in recent weeks, so it’s unknown how the former Champions will return, but given the fact that Seth Rollins is currently outnumbered in his rivalry with Drew McIntyre and Dolph Ziggler and Finn Balor has his own feud going on with Baron Corbin, this could be a great time for Ambrose to make his WWE return to even the odds.

Ambrose was originally given a nine month prognosis when it came to his return to the ring and that nine months will be up in three weeks, so Ambrose could be back on our screens around SummerSlam, whilst Jordan has been cleared and waiting backstage to be given the go ahead for weeks, so his return is now imminent.
